Bats are beneficial because they eat insects; however, they can become a pest when they move into attics, barns, sheds, and soffit areas of homes. Bats roost in dark, quiet, enclosed spaces where they are unlikely to be disturbed by predators or weather.
While we highly respect bats and all they do for the environment, we understand that bats and humans are not meant to cohabit the same building or home. Bats do eat 1000's of mosquitoes each night, but in your home they bring the risk of rabies, property damage, and bat mites (often mistaken for bed bugs).
